Fascinating insights into the future of NZ’s downstream gas industry plus European and World perspectives

If you thought you knew the NZ downstream gas industry inside and out, you may want to think again.

This year’s GasNZ Forum promises to provide new insights and views from across the gas industry, from Producers, network operators, major users, and a number of overseas speakers.

The forum kicks off with answering the following questions:

  • What are the challenges and opportunities for Gas?
  • How do we achieve an affordable, reliable and green energy future?
  • What is the role of gas after 2030 and what are we doing about it? - a Eurpoean perspective

A Forum highlight will be presentations from; OMV, First Gas, Genesis Energy and Fonterra – on what their companies are planning for the transition to net zero carbon. The presentations will be followed by a joint question and answer session to encourage free and frank discussion.

Other topics covered will include; how LPG can respond the nett zero carbon pressures, a vision for Gas in 2050, what role will the New National Energy Development Centre play, what is the outlook for LPG pricing and shipping and what would a 2050 vision for LPG in NZ look like.

Join us at the 2019 GasNZ Forum to find the answers to these questions, plus a number of other engaging industry issues, including the role of women in high viz, how to get your “story” out there in all the digital and media noise and other insights from leading figures in the energy world.

This year the networking events are: 9-hole Ambrose tournament at the Waitikiri golf course, a tour of the International Antarctic centre, or a winery tour and wine/beer tasting.
