The gas industry uses a range of Standards: NZ Standards, joint Australian and New Zealand Standards, and international Standards.

NZ Standards Gas Sector Board  


This group is chaired by the Executive Director of the LPG Association, with membership from GANZ; LPGA (LPG Association), GES (Gas Equipment Suppliers Group), PGDB (Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board), Gas Utilisation Institute, NZ Society of Master Plumbers, Institution of Gas Engineers and Energy Safety. It oversees the programme for development and review of industry Standards, utilising monies from the Gas Technology Levy to fund the work.
