Gas Industry Forum 2018 June Update
This year’s Forum will be held at The Rydges Hotel Wellington, from 7th – 9th November, with a half day workshop on Wednesday 7th (TBC) as well as the welcome cocktails in the evening.
While the Forum on-line registration system is not yet up-and running, it is recommended that accommodation is booked now, as the hotel is only holding 80 rooms until Friday 7 September. This can be done by phone (+64 4 499 8686) or email (Reservations_wellington@evt.com) and in either case quoting the block code R-LPG071118.
Room pricing is as follows:
Superior King/Twin Rooms (40 available)
- $239.00 incl GST - bed and breakfast for one
- $269.00 incl GST - bed and breakfast for two
City View King/Twin Rooms (40 available)
- $289.00 incl GST - bed and breakfast for one
- $319.00 incl GST - bed and breakfast for two
The Forum registration cost for delegates, who are employed by organisations which are members of either the LPG or Gas Associations, or who are individual members of the NZIGE, is just $633 + GST. Non-members pay $757 + GST.
For any organisations or individuals not yet members of their respective industry bodies, it is not too late to join up and reap the benefit of the lower membership attendance rate.

We expect to build on last year’s attendance, and are hopeful of attracting upwards of 130 delegates to this year’s forum. There will be a mix of senior managers from companies covering the broad spectrum of LPG and gas interests, as well as officials and other stakeholders with an interest in the role of “Gas” in New Zealand’s energy supply sector.
This year the networking events are likely to be: 9 hole ambrose tournament at the Manor Park golf course, a tour of Weta Workshops, and outdoor activities (including skeet and target shooting) at Ohariu Farm.
Registration will be open online early August and we will send another email to let you know.
Sponsorship Opportunities.
Becoming a sponsor of the forum is an excellent opportunity to promote your brand and profile your organisation’s services and products to those influencers and decision makers involved in the LPG and natural gas industries. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase your organisation and to take a leading role in what is a whole of gas industry event. Because of space limitations there are no Trade Display opportunities this year, but they will return for 2019 in Christchurch.
The attached link allows you to view the sponsorship opportunities available for your consideration.
