Fascinating insights into the future of NZ’s downstream gas industry plus updates from the European and Australian gas industries

If you thought you knew the NZ downstream gas industry inside and out, you may want to think again.

This year’s Gas Industry Forum promises to provide new insights and views from across the gas industry, from Producers, network operators, major users, and a number of overseas speakers.

A Forum highlight will be presentations from; OMV, First Gas, Genesis Energy and Fonterra – on what their companies are planning for the transition to net zero carbon. The presentations will be followed by a joint question and answer session to encourage free and frank discussion.

Other topics covered will include; what is the European gas industry response to net zero carbon how LPG can respond the nett zero carbon pressures, what are the challenges and opportunities for gas, what role can hydrogen play, how will Taranaki feature in NZ’s energy future, what is the outlook for LPG pricing and shipping. And what would a 2050 vision for LPG in NZ look like.

Join us at the 2019 Gas Industry Forum to find answers to these questions, plus a host of other engaging industry issues, including the role of women in high viz, how to get your “story” out there in all the digital and media noise and a whole raft of other insights from leading figures in the energy world.

There will also be a range of technical presentations for the Friday morning breakout session which we will confirm once they are finalised.

We expect to build on last year’s attendance, and are hopeful of attracting upwards of 130 delegates to this year’s forum. There will be a mix of senior managers from companies covering the broad spectrum of LPG and gas interests, as well as officials and other stakeholders with an interest in the role of “Gas” in New Zealand’s energy supply sector.

This year the networking events are: 9-hole Ambrose tournament at the Waitikiri golf course, a tour of the International Antarctic centre, or a wine tour.

Registration will be open online early August and we will send another email to let you know.

Sponsorship Opportunities.

Becoming a forum sponsor is an excellent opportunity to promote your brand and profile your organisation’s services and products to those influencers and decision makers involved in the LPG and natural gas industries. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase your organisation and to take a leading role in what is a whole of gas industry event. This year’s forum also has the return of the trade displays.
