Rinnai NZ is Partner of the Year!

GasNZ member Rinnai New Zealand frequently steps up when opportunities across in the gas sector present themselves. At last week’s Master Plumbers Awards night, their contribution was recognised as winner of the inaugural 2023 Business Partner of the Year Award. 

Master Plumbers Chief Executive Greg Wallace, said Rinnai New Zealand won the award for its unwavering commitment to the industry, particularly in training area, with Rinnai delivering over 40 training courses in collaboration with Master Plumbers over the past year. 

“Rinnai is dedicated to ensuring practitioners have access to the latest knowledge and expertise. The company’s focus on research and development, particularly in the area of renewable gas appliances, is also testament to its forward-thinking approach,” Greg said.

In accepting the award, Rinnai New Zealand Managing Director Ray Ferner expressed his high regard for the industry and received the honour on behalf of the “collective talent and enterprise of everyone at Rinnai”. 

GasNZ also acknowledged Rinnai’s commitment. Chief Executive, Janet Carson said “Ray’s team have been supporting the industry with early testing of New Zealand appliances with hydrogen and DME to see how LPG mixed with renewables will perform in our homes”.  

Rinnai is also a key supporter of Future Sure, a campaign focussed on raising awareness of renewable gases so New Zealanders can continue to choose gas with confidence.
